تفقد اللواء خالد عبد العال محافظ القاهرة عدد من اللجان الانتخابية للاطمئنان على سير العملية الانتخابية في جولة الإعادة لانتخابات مجلس النواب حيث زار لجنة مدرسة الطبري الثانوية بنين بروكسي ولجنة الجامعة العمالية بمدينة نصر .
وأكد المحافظ انتظام عملية الاقتراع في جميع اللجان منذ الساعة التاسعة صباحا حيث يوجد بالقاهرة حوالى 3226650 ناخب موزعون علي 6 لجنة عامة بها 589 لجنة فرعية داخل 244 مركز اتتخابي مشيرا إلى أن غرفة العمليات المركزية التي أقامتها المحافظة لمتابعة إنتخابات الإعادة لمجلس النواب لم تتلقى أي شكاوى ولم يتم رصد أي ملاحظات حتى الآن .
واكد المحافظ أن المحافظة تقف على مسافة واحدة من جميع المرشحين داعيا المواطنين لاستخدام حقهم الدستورى فى المشاركة وإختيار مرشحهم بحرية .
وحرص المحافظ خلال جولته على التأكد من اتخاذ كافة الإجراءات الاحترازية والوقائية للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا مثل توفير عدد كافي من المقاعد لتحقيق التباعد الاجتماعي بين الناخبين و استخدام المطهرات والكمامات ، بالاضافة إلى توافر كافة الوسائل التي تتيح للمواطنين الادلاء بأصواتهم بيسر وسهولة مثل مد اللجان بكراسي متحركة لكبار السن ومبردات المياه والمراوح ومظلات لحماية الناخبين من حرارة الشمس .
كما قام المحافظ بتفقد محيط اللجان الانتخابية للتأكد من نظافتها وعدم وجود أي اشغالات أو مخلفات أو صناديق قمامة أو سيارات متهالكة ومتروكة بالشوارع المحيطة بها.
وقد شارك محافظ القاهرة الجولة ابراهيم صابر نائب محافظ القاهرة المنطقة الشرقية والعميد أحمد أنور رئيس حي شرق مدينة نصر.
