مايم كاست تعيّن مديراً عاماً للشرق الأوسط

أعلنت اليوم شركة مايم كاست المحدودة Mimecast Limited (رمزها في بورصة نيويورك MIME)، عن تعيين جيف أوغدن مديراً عاماً لها في الشرق الأوسط. ومن خلال منصبه الجديد، يشرف جيف على عمليات الشركة في دولة الإمارات ونموها في المنطقة، فيما يتولى مسؤولية تعريف المؤسسات بالهجمات الإلكترونية المتطورة باستمرار وكيفية وضع استراتيجية الصمود في وجه الهجمات الإلكترونية عبر البريد الإلكتروني.
يعمل جيف في قطاع التقنية منذ أكثر من 35 عاماً، قضى منها 17 عاماً في مجال أمن تقنية المعلومات. وستواصل مايم كاست عملها بقيادة جيف لبناء برامج القنوات التي تتسم بالمتانة والولاء وتضمن حصول كافة شركاء إعادة البيع على معرفة عميقة بتقنيات الشركة وخدماتها، فضلاً عن الالتزام تجاه تجربة العملاء.
في هذه المناسبة قال براندون بيكر، المدير التنفيذي لدى مايم كاست في الشرق الأوسط وإفريقيا: “تعمل مايم كاست بنجاح منذ أكثر من عام، ويأتي تعيين جيف ليمثل الخطوة التالية في دعم استراتيجية النمو الطموحة في الشرق الأوسط. سيساهم التعيين في تعزيز علاقاتنا القائمة مع العملاء ومساعدتنا في إقامة تحالفات وشراكات جديدة.”
وقبل انضمامه إلى مايم كاست، شغل جيف عدداً من المناصب التنفيذية العليا منها قيادة قسم الخدمات الأمنية المدارة والاستشارات لدى سيمانتك في الشرق الأوسط. كما أسس جيف نت كيور ميدل إيست، وهي شركة مختصة بالاستشارات الأمنية والتكامل تابعة لأكبر مزود لتقنية المعلومات في دولة الإمارات وهي ميدإيست داتا سيستمز MDS.
بدوره علّق جيف أوغدن، المدير العام لدى مايم كاست الشرق الأوسط، على الأمر بقوله: “تتبنى المؤسسات باستمرار الخدمات السحابية مثل Office 365، ولكن تبقى هناك مخاوف تتعلق بالأمن وتوفر خدمات البريد الإلكتروني. تمثل منطقة الشرق الأوسط فرصة متميزة لنا في مايم كاست نظراً لكوننا نساعد المؤسسات من خلال الضوابط الأمنية الشاملة قبل وخلال الهجمات وحلول الاستمرارية خلالها وإمكانية التعافي التلقائي بعد الهجمة.
